Attorney Kendra Nebel

Kendra Nebel is an empathetic, strategic, and knowledgeable attorney who practices primarily in high conflict divorce and custody disputes.

Prior to entering law school, Kendra was a nationally recognized public speaker with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Speech and Debate Team. Kendra traveled around the country to educate individuals and communities about the issues impacting same sex couples following Obergefell v. Hodges and proposed legislative solutions to protect parental rights. Kendra continues to utilize her oral advocacy skills to obtain positive outcomes for her clients in the courtroom.

While in law school, Kendra was a top student receiving several awards in her litigation centered courses. She was also a member or leader of several student organizations including OUTlaw, Women’s Law Caucus, and the Equal Justice Society. Kendra graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law in the top of her class earning herself high distinction.

In her time as an attorney, Kendra has excelled in legally complex cases including matters involving domestic violence, multi-million-dollar marital estates, interstate custody disputes, and international custody disputes with non-Hague convention nations. She uses her knowledge base to educate her clients and provide them with supportive and sound counsel. Above all, Kendra has a keen appreciation for the difficult and taxing nature of family law cases. She guides her clients both emotionally and legally to help them find practical and positive outcomes for their families. While Kendra is always prepared to take a case to trial, she thrives when helping clients find mutually beneficial settlements designed for long term success.

Outside of the office, you can spot Kendra and her wife at the local dog park with their pug and Australian shepherd, Josie and Teddy. She enjoys board games, the occasional video game, and watching Nebraska Volleyball in the national spotlight. Kendra is also locally involved as a board member of the Lincoln Bar Association and a member of the Robert Van Pelt Inns of Court.
