When I am not in the courtroom, I am usually planning my next trip or looking for somewhere new to explore. I love seeing new places, experiencing different mindsets, and stepping outside of my usual routine. I believe there is always something to learn from the people and places around us, and that curiosity carries over into the way I approach my clients’ cases. I understand each case is unique and take an individualized approach to address each client’s needs.

Megan Shupe is an Omaha native and proud graduate of Marian High School. Megan left Nebraska to attend Seton Hall University in South Orange, N.J. where she double majored in Political Science and Philosophy. After college, Megan returned to her home state to attend the University of Nebraska College of Law.

Megan is a skilled litigator and advocate who takes a methodical approach to each case. Megan brings experience in family law, criminal defense, civil litigation, and appellate practice to the table. She has argued to both the Nebraska Court of Appeals and Nebraska Supreme Court. Megan’s approach to practicing law centers on connecting with her clients to provide practical guidance and zealous advocacy.

Megan believes strongly in involvement in the legal community. She is a member of the House of Delegates for the Nebraska State Bar Association, the co-chair of membership and mentorship for the Robert M. Spire Inns of Court, and a graduate of the Nebraska State Bar Association Leadership Academy. She currently serves as Chairperson for the City of Omaha Personnel Board.
